It started in a home kitchen.
Founder Matt Kosoy began baking loaves for neighbors and local cafés right out of his kitchen and garage in 2016. In 2019 he opened the doors to the storefront and named it Rosalind, for his grandmother.

A two-pound naturally-leavened loaf with a shiny, holey crumb and a pronounced tang. Named a Bay Area best by the SF Chronicle.
